Pokemon GO Upgrade Items and Components
A special item can be used to develop certain Pokemon. The Upgrade can be obtained by spinning a PokeStop's picture disc and can be offered as a reward during Pokemon GO events.
Upgrades can be applied to weapons, armors trinkets, weapons, and gathering tools in order to raise their item level. The upgrade costs Flightstones or crests, based on the kind of item.
Upgrade components
Upgrade components can be slotted into armor, weapons, trinkets, and gathering tools to offer bonus effects or attribute bonuses while the equipment is being used. Upgrade components can only be used on equipment that has an upgrade slot. Most upgrade components also require that the item being upgraded is above a certain level. Some upgrade components also have special effects when applied to an item of equipment. Upgrade components can be acquired by crafting, purchased from karma merchants, traded with other players on the Trading Post or taken from equipment, or obtained as rewards during games.
There are a variety of upgrade components available, each offering a different bonus. Universal upgrades such as gems and inscriptions can be applied to any type of equipment. They offer fewer bonuses than the other types of upgrade components. Infusions are able to be used on legendary and non-amulet items, while enhancements can be utilized on certain back equipment that has been ascended. The majority of upgrade components can be replaced if they are inserted into an item, however doing so destroys the previous upgrade. The exceptions are glyphs (which can only be inserted into gathering tools) and Enchantments, which can be removed and then reinserted.
Insignias Enchantments, insignias, and upgrades with prefixes or suffixes will be displayed in the hover display of the item, and they will be added to the equipment's name (e.g. an Radiant Insignia could change the name to Radiant Tyrian Armor). The number of upgrade components that have been added to an item will be visible in the tooltip of the item.
Glyphs
Glyphs are special characters that can be added into an OpenType font to add functional or decorative elements, like ligatures, fractions, ornaments, swashes registered trademark symbols, and ellipses. The Glyphs panel lets you look up and insert these unique characters, as well as standard glyphs such as em dashes and en dieshes, registered trademark symbols and glyphs that don't appear in other fonts (such as dingbats).
Each Glyph gives an initial boost in stats for the character. The glyph can also have up to four secondary stats which will affect its radius on your Paragon Board. Secondary Stats can be described as a %-increase which is multiplied once other bonuses have been applied except for Speed Glyphs which directly increase the hero's speed.
Selecting the Glyphs and clicking "enchant" will activate them. This will display a new window with the Glyphs you own that can be applied to the item you have selected. You are only able to apply the correct Glyph to the item you are looking for. Each weapon or jewelry piece has its own collection of Glyphs.
You can increase the level of Glyphs by working through Tree of Whisper Quests or Nightmare Dungeons. The more challenging the dungeon, the greater the amount of Glyph experience that you will get. Once a Glyph attains level 15 it can be upgraded at the Glyph Upgrade Altar. Upgrading a Glyph increases its radius on the Paragon Board by one node every 15 levels.
After a Glyph reaches the desired level you can activate it. Select it, then click the "enchant button". The resulting Glyph will give its stated benefit, and boost all other nodes in its range on the Paragon Board. Glyphs should be put where they will benefit your build the most. This is why you should prioritize Magic Glyphs as soon as possible. Some glyphs, however, could offer double bonuses in the event that certain conditions are met, so they're worth looking out for.
Click the cycle widget to change the perspective of the Glyphs Panel. Each view will display the Glyphs using a different font. You can narrow the list of glyphs further by choosing an option beneath "Entire Font": for instance, punctuation shows only punctuation glyphs, while Math Symbols reduces the choices to mathematical symbols.
Rerolling
Rerolling is the process by which you open a new account to give yourself more chances to play the character or weapon you are interested in. It can aid in your progress to higher levels or to get more loot, for example, an improved weapon for your current character. Many players play until the character they desire is available, regardless of its ability. It could be that they like the style or the personality of the character.
You must ensure that you make a clean change when you roll back. This means you should check locally that the patch is able to pass the pre-commit checks and run a core development check. You should upload the patch with a clear distinction to an issue (see What is an interdiff?) ).

However, it's important to note that not all set items are candidates for upgrading. Some sets, like the FB Sorc spec Whistan's shield or Naj's puzzlers are Exceptional in their own rights and don't require upgrading. Some items, such as Goldwrap and Whistan's Shield (both BiS) that are frequently used may be benefited by an upgrade to increase their stats. item upgrade could be worthwhile to upgrade these items.
